  • Comprehensive Education and Family Resource Center (CEFRC)

    The Comprehensive Education and Family Resource Centers supports the formal and informal learning and developmental enrichment opportunities that are provided for students outside of school and beyond the regular school day or year. The mission of Resource Center is to help parents become active participants in their children's in school endeavors by equipping the parents with the necessary tools and resources to support and assist with the educational development of their children.

    Our Goals:

    Students will grow to become well-adjusted, independent, critical thinkers as they enhance their intellective competencies. Children as well as their parents will be empowered to make decisions regarding their academic futures.The Resource Center assists parents with locating information needed to successfully supplement their child's education. As a result of these efforts the centers will:

    • Increase students’ academic performance
    • Increase students’ motivation to learn
    • Increase study skills
    • Increase positive social skills and interactions
    In Addition:
    • Parents will have the tools necessary to provide a supportive at home
    • Parents will develop a personal plan of excellence with clear goals.
    • Parents will have a clear understanding of the college application process including procedures involving admissions, financial aid, loans, tours, interviews, etc

    Rockland Community College - Resource Center Contacts and Locations

    Comprehensive Education and Family Resource Center of Rockland is a joint project between SUNY Rockland Community College and the CEJJES Institute. The Center has three college locations.
